Coral Williams

Coral Williams is 23 and from Wymering. She also became involved through the Portsmouth Outdoor Education Unit.

“I feel that I have gained a lot of confidence – as in asking people to sponsor me and not feeling scared of a challenge. I’ve learnt how
to work as a team and have fun with other members of the group.”

She hopes to come back from her leg more independent and with a more optimistic future. She said,
“I think that by doing this I will gain a lot of self-confidence and will be able to tackle things head-on.”

On the fund-raising side, she’s been involved with pub quiz nights and the Christmas fete and has helped to organise the night at the dogs.
