Hannah Knowler

16-year old Hannah Knowler comes from the Hilsea area of Portsmouth. She’s currently studying at the Mayfield Secondary School, which is where she heard about The Raymarine Lively Lady Project.

Like most of our Young Adults she’d not done any sailing before, but she loved the sailing and took to it well. She also discovered an important thing at the same time; that one of the best parts of learning is the feeling of accomplishment afterwards.

Another discovery was how to work well as part of a team and learning that she could do more than she ever thought. She said,
“One of the best things about learning to sail is knowing I can do something not many other people can”.
